The Crew
Spartanic Rockers was founded in Bern, Switzerland in spring 1986. Members from Japan joined the crew in 1997.
Why “Spartanic”?
The Spartans were Greek warriors: the hardest, toughest and most brutal ones. Everybody was afraid of them, and they lived a very hard and simple life (that's where the word “spartan” comes from) to focus on the most important thing: the battle. They didn't like half-hearted things and situations. They did everything with maximum commitment. And regardless of what happened, they always stuck together and fought for each other.
The Spartanic Rockers work hard to achieve a common purpose. We don't just come together to hang around; we focus on improving our skills. Nevertheless it's not only about dancing, but mainly also about friendship.
